Pool Information & Rules

As each swim season approaches, it is always a good time to review the pool rules and get informed about the latest pool-related issues.

Some important things to know:

Residents will be required to present their ID and key card. Please do not be offended by this! We have an ongoing problem with non-residents using our facilities. A pool monitor will ask to see your ID and key card as you enter the pool or as they arrive on their shift. Do not open the pool gate for anyone! All residents entitled to use the pool have a valid, operable key card (for replacements, contact First Coast Association Management at ofcmgr@firstcoastam.com or (904) 998-5365. Residents must remain with guest(s) at all times.

There is not a lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool is at your own risk and responsibility. Please follow the rules which exist for your safety and that of your neighbors, and use common sense. The HOA and management will not be held responsible for any accident or injury. Pool monitors may enforce the rules. If behavior problems continue, your Amenity Center privileges may be revoked.

Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older. Parents are fully responsible for assuring their children comply with regulations and are responsible for damages caused by them. Please instruct your children on the rules and ensure that they observe them!

Pool Hours: DAWN TO DUSK

The pool will be closed on Mondays for cleaning. The pool will be closed every Monday for maintenance as this is necessary to properly cleanse the filtration system. If a holiday falls on a Monday, the pool will be closed Tuesday. The Health Department also requires the pool to be closed for 24 hours if an “accident” occurs. For your safety, please do not enter the pool area anytime a closed sign is posted.

Parties require a reservation through First Coast Association Management. If you have more than four guests, please reserve space for them and avoid potential conflicts with scheduled parties. Residents cannot reserve the Amenity Center for third-party events. Reservations for the use of the Amenity Center are for residents ONLY. For reservations contact Jenilee at First Coast Association Management at, Awilson@firstcoastam.com or (904)998-5365 ext. 228 or direct dial at (904) 717-9228.

There are implied moral standards in place at the Amenity Center. Excessively revealing swimwear, including thongs and see through attire, and inappropriate displays of affection will not be tolerated. This also applies to overly loud or rude behavior and use of profane language or gestures. Offenders will be asked to leave the area.

There does not have to be a pool monitor on duty to have the rules enforced. If you see a violation or witness unsafe behavior, please remind the violator of the rules. If the problem persists, notify a board member and/or the pool monitor. If you witness criminal activity, contact the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department dialing 911. For non-emergencies, please contact their non-emergency number at (904) 824-8304.

Knowing the pool rules and following them helps to provide a safe environment for everyone to enjoy. If you, your children, or guests are asked not to do something, please comply and respect the monitor’s authority. The pool rules exist for your benefit and that of your neighbors.

We want everyone to have a great time! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact a member of the Board and we will address it as soon as possible.
